The day is here! I am so excited for you to see what I’ve been working on the past few weeks.
From the beginning of this blog, I have tried my best to avoid purchasing anything for my site. In other words, I tried to design and code things all by myself and you know what, as much as I wanted to think I was like super tech savvy, I could never get what I wanted. I finally bit the bud and set out to find a web developer to work with me on making a few changes to my site. In steps Brandi Bernoski. You guys, Brandi is a true gem. When I initially explained to her that I was really looking for something simple, something that matched what I already had, but added a level of sophistication and made it into more of a website instead of just a blog, she understood completely. She answered all of my (silly) questions, and never once made fun of me for not being techonoligally inclined. So not only is she amazing at what she does, she’s also incredibly kind!
Some things you may notice, there’s a small gallery of some of my absolute favorite images on the homepage! My about me section has some new head shots courtesy of the fabulous Andrea Pesce Photography. I’m offering a new service called “A Day in the Life” session and I am so incredibly excited about it! I’ll do a full post on that soon, but in the meantime, take a look at my Information page to read more about it. There are new galleries! This was a huge thing for me. I wanted potential clients to be able to access my most recent work more quickly and in a more professional way, and now they can!
Other than that, the site is still the same, and still really represents me and my business. I am a simple girl when it comes down to it, and at the end of the day, I want my site/blog to be all about the stories that are told through images.
And because every post is better with a picture, here’s a preview of what’s coming later this week.
