The Process

1.

Share Your Vision

Hoping to have your wedding featured on Martha Stewart? Looking for loads of candids? Let’s talk through exactly what you envision for your wedding day.

2.

Savor the Experience

We’ve fleshed out the details and talked through all the little things that have led to this epic day.

I capture gorgeous images, and you get focus on being your beautiful, vibrant selves.

3.

Preserve your Legacy

The champagne’s been had, the cake’s been eaten, but the images from your wedding are a tangible takeaway you’ll cherish for years.

While my years of experience and artistic vision play an integral part in being behind the camera, what’s most important to me is what’s in front of the camera. You.

I take my attention to detail and love for people and integrate them into how I thoughtfully prepare to photograph your wedding or session. I work alongside you, and your planner, in order to fully understand your personal vision.

All communication throughout the process, from booking to final delivery, is with me directly so you can be sure that I am keeping your desires at the forefront of how I photograph you. You can be sure that you are investing in images that will be gorgeous, honest, and real. From perfectly styled details to a classic black + white portrait of you to epic shots of your Nana busting moves on the dance floor, you can be sure you’ll receive images that will have you saying…”This is so US”

I have had the honor of photographing some of the most unique and genuine people. Couples and families who work with me love traveling and new experiences just as much as they love cozy nights at home. They see beauty in simplicity and understand the significance of the little details. And like me, they know life is far too short to be anything but your truest self.

Finding someone to capture one of the most important days of your life can be a daunting task. However, after the first meeting with Carrie, our minds were put at ease. Through the flurry of wedding prep she was calm, professional and efficient, all the while creating an environment that made everyone feel comfortable.

One of the things we were most impressed with was her ability to capture moments on film. Though we love every single picture that was taken, her eye for capturing the emotions of the day really stood out in her film shots. These are the photos that now decorate the walls and mantel in our home. We can’t wait to work with Carrie again in the coming months to capture our newborn child’s first moments!

Hannah & Michael

As a mother of the bride, good photography was at the top of my priorities. Working with Carrie was a complete pleasure, and she brought calm, charm and cheerfulness to the joyful chaos.

The bride’s 94 year old grandmother couldn’t attend, but insists that all of Carrie’s photographs make her feel like she was right there – at the church, on the dance floor, and waving sparklers goodbye!
